Statim 2000S

8 minute complete sterilization cycle

Statim 5000S

11 minute complete sterilization cycle

Think of how much time and money that'll save you

Statim’s revolutionary technology allows you to sterilize up to 8x faster than a common ‘round chamber’ style autoclave. What’s the advantage? Statim’s incredible 6 minute cycle will allow you to sterilize instruments between procedures, or simply as you need them.

Statim is also the most versatile autoclave available. Whether you choose to process wrapped or unwrapped instrument loads, Statim has an unprecedented, ultra fast cycle speed for each.

However, perhaps the biggest advantage is Statim’s unique removable chamber design which allows for the aseptic transport of unwrapped instrument loads from the instrument reprocessing area directly to the procedure room - an industry first.

This feature will allow you to take regular advantage of Statim’s fully validated unwrapped cycle. You will be able to maximize your efficiency as there’s less need to store large inventories of instruments or jewelry to get you through the day. Use fewer instruments more often.

What are you waiting for?

Statim 2000 with cassette

Fully removable sterilization chamber

STATIM’s unique, removable sterilization chamber is the only one of its kind providing aseptic instrument delivery immediately upon completion of a cycle. Simply remove the closed chamber and deliver instruments aseptically directly to the procedure area.

Extremely gentle on instruments

STATIM’s unique steam injection system forces residual air out of the chamber as steam is introduced for sterilization. The result is little to no corrosion over time, drastically increasing the life instruments

S
uggestions for use:

An all disposable procedure saves body artists hundreds of hours of labor

It is not necessary to have an additional autoclave if you have a STATIM. The wrapped cycle will out perform any type N gravity displacement steam sterilizer, and type B vacuum sterilizers.

[The STATIM S series are available in European Union countries, and have established a new higher standard for sterilization. They are distinguished from their STATIM counterparts by a 90 second longer conditioning phase and an 18 minute wrapped cycle to accommodate EN13060]

  • For efficiency, we suggest having several cassettes, and at least four Sys-TM 3 cassette organizers or small Surgical Sterilization Trays.
  • We suggest that you use one cassette more than the number of services that could be performed at once.
  • With two practitioners and two service rooms, we have found three sterilizer cassettes effective.
  • Each service provider can have their own cassette to use for each procedure.
  • To keep things running smoothly, have one extra cassette to sterilize jewelry to go while your other cassettes are in service, or to prepare for the next client.
  • About forty cycles can be run on one gallon of distilled water, total cost: about four cents per cycle including electricity.
  • You can sterilize supplies for several procedures at once using the cassette organizers.
  • The cassette organizers can be wrapped and sterilized for storage and later use.
  • You can organize the STATIM 2000 cassette to hold up to four separate Sys-TM 3 or two Small Single Surgical Sterilization Trays in each cycle.

THE STATIM CASSETTE AUTOCLAVE STERILIZER SYSTEM

The STATIM is not your typical sterilizer

* Here are some reasons why:

*FAST

StatIM 2000 delivers sterile instruments in 6 ½ minutes ready for use using fresh water each cycle, drying instruments without exposing them to external air.

*SAFE

Body Piercing, Tattooing, Dental, Laparoscopy, Arthroscopy Cystoscopy & ENT procedures, protects expensive instruments and handpieces. The patented air removal system ensures effective sterilization with no oxidation to your instruments and removes the air even in hollow instruments. No harmful chemicals that may possibly risk staff and patient to exposure.

*SAVE $

StatIM cycle cost is approximately .04 cents versus the much higher cost of packaging and storage. It saves time and money and allows for greater flexibility in your practice by avoiding pre-packaging equipment and jewelry.

*ASEPTIC TRANSFER

StatIM cassette offers the solution to the concern of aseptic transfer of sterilized items from the sterilizer to the point of use. The instruments are not exposed to external air as with open trays, thus allowing the operator to transport through non-sterile areas with no concern of breaking sterility.

The STATIM is the easiest, most cost effective and convenient sterilizing system available!

Manufacturer's information from SciCan online

overview

Today's challenge of infection control and the demands of modern patient treatment are met with SciCan's state of the art sterilization technology. In 1989, SciCan introduced the first STATIM Cassette Autoclave® to the marketplace. Today, dental and medical practitioners in over 60 countries world wide rely on STATIM to protect their patients and staff from infection from contaminated instruments.

Although STATIM was originally developed for use in Dental applications, STATIM delivers complete sterilization solutions for Endoscopy, Gynecology, Ophthalmology and other medical areas.

Since SciCan began manufacturing, its autoclaves have won several design and product awards in Canada and Europe. As sales continue to grow, several versions of innovative SciCan autoclaves have been introduced to thousands of dental and medical offices and hospitals throughout the world.

After a cycle is chosen and the start button is pressed, the steam generator heats to the optimum temperature. A defined volume of distilled water is then pumped and converted to steam. The wall of steam is injected into the pressure chamber and cassette, which is loaded with contaminated instruments. Air is purged as the steam courses through the cassette and is continuously expelled into a condenser flask.

After the sterilizing cycle is completed, a small air compressor switches on, drying and cooling the instruments rapidly (STATIM 2000 and 5000 only). The STATIM system completely sterilizes instruments within international standards and it only uses clean distilled water, preventing the build up of rust and other contaminants.
