Considering the litigious state of the USA, going through with it could be pursued as a felony act of sexual assault.

Oral, nipple or genital piercings could result in up to a $10,000 fine for the consenting adult, and a ten year jail sentence for the piercer. The law is not particularly flexible in that area.

We strongly suggest that you wait until 18, and not to try it yourself in the meantime. In personal experience, having tried a number of piercings at home under the age of 18, many became unwearable as my body changed and grew over the next years. A person can maim and seriously disfigure their body because of the unpredictability and the rate of change through puberty and pre-adult phases of growth.

It is worth the wait! The difference between a piece of jewelry forced into your skin and a piercing done well is inconceivable!
