I went to Piercing Experience New Year's Day with the hopes of getting my nose pierced, but was extremely disappointed when I realized that since I had finished a margarita just moments before walking in the door, it wouldn't be the best idea due to increased bleeding from the alcohol. I have to say that Brian spent almost thirty minutes just explaining the process to me and I have never felt so comfortable and at ease. He really cares about informing his clients of everything involved in the piercing process and was so knowledgeable about not only piercing, but its origins and meanings, etc. He's far beyond the typical piercer, or at least from what I have seen in the past. I will definitely be returning, this time sober, and will tell everybody about this place.

I had been considering a vertical hood piercing for almost two years and I have been talking to Brian for about a year and a half about it. I finally got up the nerve to do it just over two weeks ago. The anticipation was intense and definitely the worst part. It hurt really bad for less than a fraction of a second. By the time I could register the pain, Brian was telling me he was putting the end of the jewelry on. I didn't even know he had put the jewelry in at all! I was afraid it would get in the way of life in general but I was not inconvenienced at all. It is the best decision I have made in a long time and I would, and have, recommend it to every woman out there. And I would only let Brian do it! Thanks!!!

Brian, Just wanted to thank you for your help and time 2 weeks ago. I didn't realize the toxicity of surgical steel in the body. Thanks for open my eyes to the latest developments in the industry. I also enjoy the semi circular barbell that I purchased. Titanium is a far more superior metal for larger jewelry then what I was using. Thanks for all your help again. Chad
i got my first "shiny" experience this past weekend. i've had my tongue, naval, and nose pierced at other places, and while it didn't really hurt (thankfully i have a high pain threshold), it did smart a bit... censored those clamps. but talking to brian and ben, i realized that clamps aren't necessary, hurt more, and are very unsterile. so i talked to brian about the pros and cons of piercing my nipples, and my concern for breastfeeding, and he told me that questions you want--the guys are very professional and easy to talk to. If I wasn't a poor grad student, I'd have tipped Brian a lot! I love being shiny :0)
Well getting my nose pierced was the first thing i ever got pierced at the piercing experience, and it was a great experience. I've had my tongue and my tragus pierced at other places and both hurt. Getting my nose pierced I felt very little pain. I've changed my tongue and tragus jewelry to titanium and I can really feel the difference.
I've never had a piercing...might have to get some!

I have been pierced now for about 4 years and thought I knew enough about what was in my body to get by. A few weeks ago I took a trip to the Piercing Experience after a good friend of mine suggested I go there, after speaking with Brian for about a half hour I realized that I didn't know as much as I though I did. Brian and Ben have educated me a great deal on what jewelry is proper and safe for long-term and short-term use. I have followed their approach to enlarging a fully healed piercing and it has helped me safely and easily get all four of my earlobe piercings moving along great. My piercing experience has been enhanced a great deal by what I have learned from Brian, Ben, and all of the material I have read on this site. Thank you, Travis.
Thank you, Brian for piercing my belly button yesterday! I am very pleased and so far there is no pain! I was terrified of how it would go but Brian is full of so much knowledge that he makes you feel at ease. I do not do piercings except the traditional ear piercing and I must say that I am glad that I found Brian. You are the best! I will be back in a month to have you check on it and get the two gem belly ring. It looks so sexy!
I have a clithood piercing since 3 months. I did hurt, but I am very happy with the results. Of course, it is sexy, but I think foremost it looks very elegant. I came to Piercing Experience for the first time back in June and really learned a lot about jewelry and safety. I was so shocked to find out that the steel jewelry I was wearing was [irritating because it corrodes and releases chemicals such as nickel and chromium that are] toxic! So I threw it all away right there in the studio and purchased a new jewelry piece for my navel. Now I want some new piercings done and will only go to Brian. My thanks to Brian for an interesting experience. I had my nipples done for my birthday and while it hurt more than I thought it would it didn't hurt nearly as much as a friend who had her nipples done somewhere else. I'm extremely pleased with the new look and the information on the healing process. Brian made everything SO comfortable that IF I ever decide to get another piercing, he'll be the only one I let touch me.

BrettHey folks, just wanted to jump on and express my sincere gratitude to Brian and all the gang at The Piercing Experience. I found www.piercing.org online at one of the Body piercing ezines, and was in search of some titanium barbells with elliptical ends for my apadravya. I first bought the 10g barbell, and had a magnificent shopping experience. Brian and the crew supplied excellent customer service, and the order placement and shipment process was seamless. I was immediately notified when the product shipped, as well as receiving a digital image of the piece that I was to receive. In two days the product was in hand (or in Apadravya to be more precise)! A short time later I was looking to gauge my apadravya up to an 8g. I called Brian and he was very informative about the stretching process. He sold me an 8g Titanium barbell with 5/16ths" elliptical ends. In addition he sold me a threaded taper and rubber "o" rings to help with the slow stretch. Again, within two days the package arrived, and it was just as described. I completed the stretch in about 45 minutes based on the expert advise from Brian. The stretching process was absolutely bearable, and I LOVE my new metal! I can't say enough about the folks at the Piercing Experience. I highly recommend them for all of your piercing needs.
